Before each clinical session

Prepare clinical equipment

Prepare the equipment you intend to use, in order to avoid any last minute issues or mishaps.

Needles remain sealed

You must make sure that sterile needle packs remain sealed until needed. Additionally, it is crucial that all needles are within their expiry date, and have not been previously opened.

Adjunctive equipment

When utilising any of your adjunctive equipment, such as dermal rollers or probes, they should be clean, well-maintained, and kept within your designated clean field area.

Cleanfield site

The cleanfield area should be thoroughly cleaned on a daily basis and should only contain equipment that is necessary for current use. Sharps bins must remain outside of this area.

Store equipment

You should ensure that all of your clinical equipment is kept stored safely and securely.
